Brooksby Village Television!
Brooksby Village Television includes two closed circuit television
channels that are resident run with support from staff. These stations are only available to residents on the Brooksby Village campus.
TV 919
"TV919" is the Brooksby Village Community channel which airs a variety of community programs, from Town Hall Meetings to to Good Day Brooksby, a live informational show airing live every Monday. This show aims to give you all the information about things happening around Brooksby. The bulletin board that airs between programming on TV919 is used by everyone on campus and includes events around campus, important announcements, and other important information to keep track of.
TV 918
Known around campus as "TV918" or, "The Brooksby Village Chapel Channel." This station airs programs produced in the Chapel, located in the McIntosh building, as well as various religious and spiritual programming such as: Meditations, Inspirational Stories, and Scripture Reading. Events sponsored by the Pastoral Office or any religious/spiritual groups are advertised on the TV918 Scrolling Message Board between programming.

VOLUNTEER BASE
Brooksby Village Television is an activity for the residents who are looking to get involved in the community! The shows we produce all include resident involvement, either behind the scenes or in front of the camera, or both! The professional staff in the TV studio work every day with resident volunteers to train and advise them on how to craft video content. If you are looking for something new to learn, or even if you just want to meet some people with similar interests, the TV studio is a wonderful and fun way to spend your free time. No prior experience is necessary!

EMERGENCY MESSAGES
The technology we use in the TV studio and in the field is full High Definition industry standard equipment. The staff in the studio have all worked in professional television environments and are always staying in touch with modern trends and technology. When you enter the studio, you can't help but get the feeling that you are in a state of the art TV studio. The work that is produced from the studio daily proves that point. We are always looking at what is new and how we can make things better.
There are times when the management of Brooksby Village need to get important information out to the 1800 residents who call Brooksby Village home. In this case, the TV channels are utilized to get this important messaging out to the community. Inclement weather, road closures, major construction work, and many other emergency messages are displayed using the TV system during an emergency.
